Yes, we made it without losing any luggages! I didn't have a chance to wrote the blog , so it is a little bit late to say that. We landed on the 6th evening and greeted by Cora and my parents. The weather was/is boiling hot here with 31 to 34oC, I feel that I am sitting in the oven now. On the first night, we have a dinner with my parents , Cora and my cousin Doris who helpped me a lot in organising the dojo and accomdation in Hong Kong. My dad had actually opened three bottles of wine to breath an hour before we landed. I am sure , we all enjoyed the hospitality from him and so we drank all of them after a long trip on the flight. Richard probably enjoyed the most with a kiss with the fish... photo evdience will be here soon :).
We did some exploring of the countryside in Lantau Island yesterday, saw the big Budda , a fishing village, the longest beach in Hong Kong and ate some fish ball. Very tiring trip because we needed to keep awake for the whole day to fight the jet lag. But really nice views and breeze. The big Budda and temple is highly recommended to go because it is nice to quiet your mind before the competition!
So we will start the first day of training this morning, pick James up at the airport this afternoon and go to Macau this evening to meet my uncles! I will upload the photos when we are all back from Macau on the 9th evening.
Good luck to all and see you soon.
