first day in Hong Kong and we're off to the hillsides to see the Big Buddha, the biggest outdoor sitting Buddha in the world, an injection of serenity...
We arrived in Ngong Ping village, admired the stunning panoramic views from the top and the cool sea air.
Then off to Tai O, a fishing village with houses on stilts fishy smells; we discovered our love for "Dao Jung(豆漿)"[soya milk]
Next stop - to the beach! the longest (4km) sandy beach in Hong Kong, almost all to ourselves! It's a hard life, but someone's got to do it!
